Nawaz requires constant observation because of ongoing symptoms of heart illness.
LAHORE: Just days before the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo was anticipated to arrive in the nation, a new medical report on the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was delivered to the Lahore High Court (LHC).
The PML-N leader was granted permission by the high court to travel abroad for medical treatment in November 2019 after his medical reports indicated that he required immediate attention.
He traveled to the UK and has been residing in London ever since the LHC granted him permission for medical treatment. He had been ordered by the court to regularly submit medical reports.
The four-year self-imposed exile of Shehbaz Sharif’s elder brother will come to an end on October 21 when he returns to Pakistan, the PML-N president stated last month.
Professor Carlo di Mario of the Royal Brompton Hospital in London claimed in a new medical report submitted today by Nawaz’s legal team that he has been caring for “this patient with previous CABG, multiple angioplasties and ablations, throughout his stay in London in the past years.”
The cardiologist’s antianginal therapy was strengthened by the fact that they had initially tried medicinal treatment.
